everything UHV has done during the past 40 years to make history and all that we have yet to accomplish as we emerge as a residential four-year university, our annual report theme this year is “History in the Making.”
As you look through the site, be sure to view the short videos featuring students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members talking about how UHV has helped them make history. You’ll also see videos from the annual report dinner of our special recognition award recipients. You’ll hear from speakers about our academic, student life and community achievements in 2011-2012. This website also features many more success stories, so I hope you’ll take your time viewing it.
As I look at how UHV is being transformed, I am very thankful for the support we have received from Victoria and the region. Without our students, faculty and staff, our generous donors and our supportive community, these accomplishments would not have been possible. I know that we are only at the start of UHV ’s emergence as a full-service institution with more than 60 graduate and undergraduate degrees and concentrations. We are only beginning to feel the impact that UHV can have on the future of Victoria and Greater Houston.
