School of Nursing

• UHV signed a dual-degree partnership with Victoria College to allow students to earn an Associate Degree of Nursing from VC and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the university.
• Students in the Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program started the new degree.
• The first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Exam-Registered Nurse for the university’s Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing students was 97.3 percent, the highest pass rate of Texas universities.
• The number of School of Nursing alumni grew to 700 after the spring commencement ceremony.
