The Numbers

UHV’s revenue in 2013-2014 was estimated at $57.2 million, and UHV spent 49.8 percent, or $28.5 million, of that total on providing quality instruction for students. Financial assistance awarded to students totaled $35.1 million, an increase of 45.9 percent from 2009-2010. At public universities in Texas, total enrollment grew 9.9 percent from fall 2009 to fall 2013, while UHV’s enrollment increased 22.9 percent. The university’s enrollment in fall of 2014 was 4,407.
